Vought Retirees Restore Flying Pancake

Local 848's Recording Secretary, Gary Tessmar, managed to obtain photos of the V173 "Flying Pancake" that Vought retirees refurbished before packing it up to send it to the "Frontiers of Flight" Museum at Love Field in Dallas. The aircraft was way ahead of its time, in many ways, when it was developed in 1935, but it was not used.
