Your Negotiating Committee announced today, 9/22/04, that negotiations have taken a serious turn. Our Local 848 leadership has posted notice of a strike vote if necessary for Sunday, September 26, 2004.

The Negotiating Committee would like to assure everyone that we are standing strong and will continue to bargain in order to bring back the best possible contract for our membership. We need all of our members to remain strong and united.
