Union leaders throughout the nation agree that we are facing the most important elections in our lifetimes. There are a lot of things that even inexperienced members could do. UAW 848's Community Action Program leader made this list of activities that can be carried out in the last few days before the November 2 elections:

Phone banking

Putting out signs at polling places in the early morning of November 2

Giving people rides to the polls

Collecting data from polling places all through election day

Handing out literature at polling places

Local 848 has a proud history of activism. We've already done a lot of voluntary work. Our retirees have called hundreds of UAW members this year and in the past several elections.
