Tournament organizer Jeff Benge says, “This year we got to see some of the fruits of our labor at the golf tournament. Participants got to see some of the scholarship winners so they could realize that we were really accomplishing something long-lasting while we were having fun.” The 9th annual James “Earl” Wavrusa memorial golf tournament was presented by UAW local at the Bear Creek Golf Club on June 12. Benge credited Romeo Munoz, Pete Jimenez, Clifton Lovely, and Chuck Stanley  for making the event a success.
