At the January 23 Membership Meeting, Vought Chairman Russell Strowd complimented our leadership and members on the good job they have done in welcoming the new-hires. He said, "Anything you can do to help, I appreciate."

Nearly 90 applications for union membership were proposed.

Brother Jeff Beneke said that they've already started working on the golf tournament. They have set it for April 30 at the Iron Horse golf course in North Richland Hills. Fliers will soon be coming out. The entrance fee will be $75 as it was last year.

Our old tradition of swearing in new members was re-instituted when President Giesecke swore his son, Marty Giesecke, into membership. Under the "good and welfare" section of the agenda, President Giesecke asked people to sign cards asking the post office to create a stamp for A.L.S. disease.
