SOFTBALL TEAM RALLIES FOR VICTORY

 

On Monday August 4th, the UAW 848 softball team played the final game of the summer league season at Randall Mill Park. The team rallied in the last inning for a comeback win and improved their record to 7-1. The victory clinched 1st place in the Arlington Summer League "D" Competitive Division. Keith Wallace earned team MVP, he slammed 9 of the teams 19 homeruns in league play. On Saturday July 26th, UAW 848 won 4th Place in the ASA State Industrial tournament in Houston. Charlie Mueller was selected for the "ASA Industrial All State" team.
