Vought Retirees Applauded

On March 4, 2006, the Dallas newspaper paid tribute to hard-working retiree volunteers at Vought who are preserving the historical heritage by repairing and creating prototypes of various aircraft in the company's history.

The retiree organization, Vought Survivors, has worked over the past ten years to preserve the long and significant history of the company. A marvelous display of their work is on the company's web site at www.vought.com/heritage.

The Vought Retiree Club is open to Local 848's veterans, as well as to other retired employees, for a nominal fee. Local 848 also maintains a history of our union in the archives at the union hall. Our history is worth knowing.
