Local 848 held its Children's Christmas Party on December 12. Puppets, a magician, and two clown-elves were the warm-up show for Santa himself. The kids had sweets and baloons. Every one received a present. Jay Dunn took polaroid photos of the children with Santa.
Recreation Chairman Billy Lankston organized the event with a lot of help from his family and friends in the union.
The kids screamed
and giggled during the puppet show. Kendall and Carson Robinson are two little
girls who are great grandchildren of Brother Willie Choice. His Grandson, Chase,
is also in the photo.
Several of 848's members and their families pitched in. Janine Krajca was there to help, but Steve, who had been helping all along, missed the part when Santa came.
